WHAT THEY SAY

The Brangero farm is located in Diano d'Alba, on the highest part of the hill in front of the town. A splendid view of the Langhe hills, the beautiful town of Alba, the vines that surround the building enjoy the most favorable climatic and exhibition position.

Marco Brangero acquired a parcel in the famed Monvigliero vineyard, and he makes a spectacular wine from those vines in his cellar in Barolo. The Arneis, Chardonnay and Alta Langa are vinified and bottled in the Diano winery.

WHAT WE SAY

We knew that Marco had a good touch with white varieties after tasting his range of Ligurian Pigato and Langhe’s Arneis and Chardonnay, but it turns out that he has the same skills for his reds -which are equally well crafted. A very precise and elegant touch combined with a judicious use of wood is noticeable in all his wines. The focus, in his reds, is on clean and vibrant aromas mixed with a poised control of the tannins. Marco’s wines are a great joy to drink in relative youth but equally good to cellar.
